Group Class Schedule
All classes rotate monthly. Beginner classes will vary to allow students a chance to find their favorites dance styles!

Rumba, Cha Cha, East Coast Swing, Tango, Foxtrot, Waltz, Salsa, Merengue, Samba, West Coast Swing, Two-Step, Night Club Two-Step, Hustle, Mambo, **Foxy
Wedding Lessons
Weddings can be so hectic. There is so much planning and so many things to be done. I love helping couples plan their first dance together. Learning a few basics or something with a little flare is a great way to connect with each other during your busy time.

Group Classes
We offer group classes for the beginner up to the advanced. No partner needed! Our laid back, encouraging class atmosphere is the perfect place to have a ton of fun and learn some new dance moves.
$10 per person/$15 per couple
Private Lessons
Not a fan of group classes….or maybe you would like a little extra help with some dance figures, private lessons are perfect! We offer private lessons for singles and/or couples.

Grouple
Grouple…strange word but fitting for a private group class. Grab some friends, have a fun night out or schedule a 6 week course to learn some of the most popular dances you’ll see at weddings, cruise ships, or just about anywhere music is played.

Absolutely not!

Definitely something comfortable. Shoes are the big consideration. You do want them to be comfortable, but no grip on the bottom. Please avoid sneakers if possible. Ballet flats for ladies and dress shoes for guys are good examples of what works best during a group class.

Not at first, but if you find ballroom to be your new hobby I can send you suggestions of starter shoes.

You’ll need to contact me if you’d like to sign up for a private group class or private lesson. Otherwise for group class, you can just show up. (See the schedule above.). If you’re unsure of which group class to attend, feel free to contact me and I can help you decide. For payment, all cards are accepted, cash, PayPal or Venmo. Payment is due prior to the class or lesson start time.

As a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? I wanted to be a dance teacher. I fell in love with dance at a very early age. Life has taken me down many different paths, but here I am a dance studio owner/teacher. I started dancing at age 3 with ballet and tap. As the years progressed, I added gymnastics and contemporary to the dances I loved. In college, I took as many dance classes as I could. In 2011, I started dating my now husband who purchased a Groupon for ballroom lessons. It took an entire year for me to go. I was very intimidated! However, after my first class, I fell head over heels for ballroom dance. I have been dancing/teaching ever since. Teaching others to dance has become my most favorite thing to do! (Also, no, my husband does not dance. LOL I’m still working on that.)
My dad was the dancer in my family besides me and we always loved to dance around at the classic car shows we attended every summer. I grew up listening to 50’s and 60’s music, therefore, swing is my favorite style of ballroom dance.
When thinking of a studio name, TWIST was one of my first thoughts. Twist pays tribute to my many summers dancing the twist with my dad and my color, turquoise, pays tribute to our beloved 57’ Chevy that transported us every summer.
My husband and I along with our son and twin girls have invested in this journey and we pray it gives us many years of happy memories. I’d love for you to be a part of our dance family. We hope to see you soon!
